HOW TO ENSURE YOU ARE GETTING THE BEST OUT OF YOUR PRODUCTS
CANDLE CARE:
Always burn your candles for the recommended time frame (minimum of 4 hours) to ensure you get an even burn pool.
What does that mean? It means that the wax has melted all the way to the edges of the vessel. This will set the "memory" for your candles.
- General Care Info:
Your candle should always be burnt on a safe, flat surface. We do not recommend burning your candle (or anything, really) on a glass surface, as the vessel itself will heat and could cause damage to the surface it's on. A candle should always be burnt away from other items, out of reach of children, pets and away from all flammable items/substances.
- Burning:
It is important that you let the candle burn to the edges each time, failure to do so will result in an uneven burn pool & if done often enough cannot be rectified without scraping the wax off the edges & ain't nobody got time for that!
Should you need to blow out your candle before it has reached its full burn circle, the next burn will need to be a complete full circle burn, to maintain the integrity of your candle. Candles burn best in still air, but if you're unable to avoid draughts, we recommend that you turn your candle every now and then to avoid uneven burning. A candle that is burning in a draught, may also start to smoke.
- Wicks:
We use cotton wicks, which can sometimes create a "mushroom" effect post burn - therefore we recommend that you remove the charred "mushroom" (preferably using a wick cutter) and always remember to trim your wicks to 6mm prior to each use. Failure to do this may lead to a “wax pool fire” in the vessel, where the entire candle may appear to ignite. This is caused when a hot piece of untrimmed wick drops into the melted wax pool and ignites it. This can also be prevented by burning the candle for a maximum of 4 hours at any time.

DIFFUSER CARE:
- General Care Info:
Removing the reeds should always be done over an easy-to-wipe, flat surface. Should the diffuser oil come in contact with any surface, wipe/clean immediately. If contact with clothing occurs, clothing should be washed immediately, as this may cause staining. Always wash your hands after handling the diffuser and wipe the outside of the vessel, just in case any oil escaped without you realising!
If your diffuser is placed in a sunny spot, this will impact the amount of time your diffuser lasts, this will naturally evaporate but will also excel the scent throw.
- Reeds:
Diffusers require minimal maintenance. The reeds however can be "flipped" as often as you feel necessary or when the reeds appear dry. "Flipping" the reeds will allow a stronger scent throw.

CAR DIFFUSER CARE:
- General Care Info:
Regardless of their hanging ability, car diffusers should not be hung from your vehicles rear vision mirror. Due to science, car diffusers that are left in a vehicle on a hot day may explode. The oil inside the diffuser can boil, causing the vessel to smash, leaving some serious clean-up duties for you. This will most likely cause damage to your vehicles interior.
- Maintenance:
To fill your vehicle with delicious scent, check the diffusers lid is on securely, flip the diffuser upside-down and gently shake the bottle (approx. 7-10 seconds). We recommend doing this once a week to maintain a constant throw. The amount of times you do this however, will impact the longevity of your diffuser.
